With many of our team being keen cyclists it went without saying that we would once again take part in the Cycle 4 Cynthia race which took place this Sunday. This would be the 12th year of the race which has so far raised £350,000 for the Cynthia Spencer charity who offer specialist care to those with life limiting illnesses.
It was the fifth year Triad have participated and sponsored the event, with various distances to choose each with scenic routes of the Northamptonshire countryside, our team put on their cycling shirts and hit the roads once again.
There were also some well-known faces at the start line including Northampton Saints stars Jim Mallinder, Sam Dickinson and Dylan Hartley who got the race started by sounding the horn. They have all shown endless support for the charity over the years and even modelled the shirts before the final design was chosen. With the perfect weather conditions, much to everyone’s delight the day was a great success. Everyone at Triad successfully completed their route with some even choosing to go round twice!
We all look forward to taking part in the event again next year and hope for an even stronger turnout from the Triad team.
