Over the past few years, Penso has grown exponentially and their existing collateral didn’t portray the forward-thinking company it now is, nor was it suitable to support their future growth.
We were asked to review and revise Penso’s visual identity and marketing communications strategy to better reflect the company as an innovative, progressive, and technology-focused business. Our strategic support was designed to prepare Penso for the future by raising awareness of the brand as a world class provider – elevating their status from a local automotive engineering business to a leader in the development and deployment of world-leading technology.
We undertook a series of workshops and discussions with stakeholders at Penso, ranging from the senior leaders to the guys on the production floor. Our aim was to identify what made Penso special, what differentiated them from competitors, who their people are and what their core values are. This enabled us to develop an over-arching positioning strategy and refined identity that would form the focal point to drive all communications activity.
Following our consultancy phase, we delivered an in-depth report which analysed our findings and set-out our recommendations for a new positioning statement, values and brand evolution strategy. From here we developed concepts for a refreshed visual identity and house style (including brand guidelines), devised top-level messaging and straplines, art directed film shoots to capture all aspects of the business,
produced a showreel video, and designed & developed a new website.
Penso’s new website and company showreel now reflect the company’s ground- breaking, proprietary carbon composite technology. The ability to make lighter components cost effectively, provides significant environmental benefits for future transport solutions – from aircraft seats, delivery vehicles to train doors. We’re looking forward to continuing our roll-out plan and tracking its success and see the impact on their existing and prospective client base.
