Polydist Character Creation
We invented ‘Poly-Mers’, a character to act as Resin Trade’s brand ambassador. The creation’s name strengthened the associations between their brand and the polymer compound found in plastics.
Unveiled at a trade exhibition, ‘Poly-Mers’ set the company’s identity apart from market competitors and showcased their personable customer service ethic to members of the plastic industry.
Poly-Mers quickly became the voice of the brand. Resin Trade used Poly-Mers for marketing purposes (print, email, internet) and opening up sales opportunities.
By year end we were briefed on Resin Trade’s rebrand. They required us to build a new website and produce an animation that explained what the rebrand meant for the company.
The continuation of the Poly-Mers character promised customers that the company would maintain its personable values throughout the expansion.
This animation shows Poly-Mers going through an upgrade. We demonstrate his ability to do new things, demonstrating the new grades of polymer Polydist UK now offers its customers. We produced a script to communicate how the company has changed. We promoted the company’s global outreach and their dedicated commitment to providing a wider range of services to satisfy all customers, old and new.
