xIntegra is Eaton's system integrated solution for power management. We needed to visually demonstrate this massive value chain in its entirety - from grid to chip. How could we present the information at its best for it to take centre stage at the upcoming Technology Summit?
As well as informing people about the products and capabilities, the right styling was essential to create the right impression. We came up with the look and feel for xIntegra, aiming for a high-tech, dynamic design. Dark backgrounds with illuminous (almost ghost-like!) 3D components really make the products pop. Effects and highlights in bright blues/greens and oranges were used to convey connectivity and the surging of electricity and power which literally brings it to life!
The first of two animations, we created an introductory video to explain the concept of a systems engineered approach. We know that not everyone has such indepth knowledge as Eaton so we decided to keep things simple at first. Focussing on products meant we could show the 'grid to chip' journey in an immersive way - generating excitement and a buzz at the breakout session.

The 2nd video is a more in-depth approach for those who want more than just an overview. For this, we concentrated on product capabilities within xIntegra to cover the full-service offer. We expanded the product range to include software and services that affect the whole value chain to give viewers a complete picture - and hopefully impress them with the scale!
