We were asked to create a 90-second video showing how the customer currently interacts with RS / Allied and how they will interact in the future. The video would launch their Innovation Conference so needed to create an impact in a large room and get the message across that ‘We are all Innovators’ to excite and inspire the RS employees about the future of the business.
We had an incredibly tight deadline to deliver this project; following the project kick off meeting we created the initial storyboard which needed to have a futuristic and inspiring feel whilst being dynamic and engaging for the viewers at the conference. Once approved, we headed to the RS distribution centre in Nuneaton where we spent the day filming. That left just over a week for post-production and editing and incorporating an extensive series of messaging into the various scenes. We used a mixture of VFX and 3D animation along with our creative flair to produce an impressive film, which achieved the desired look and feel the client sought.
This project was a real team effort and involved a range of different skills from efficient account management, art direction, 3D animation, post production and acting!
