Our role as the College’s retained design agency involved us producing a wide range of publications and advertising campaigns. In addition to full time and part time prospectuses and other guides, from time to time we were called on to create special reports. This strategic investment report was aimed at the local business community and potential employers to highlight the key activities the college was undertaking, as well as the progress that had been made in recent years.
Working within the brand guidelines that we had created, we were able to switch the tone and emphasis of this publication from a student focus to one that targeted business and local enterprise partnerships and funding bodies. FE Colleges play a critical role in equipping young people with the technical and vocational skills required to help the local economy thrive, and we were able to highlight key achievements as well as draw out endorsements from the leaders of both SEMLEP and NEP at the time.
The College’s leadership team were proud of the final document which was presented at a reception to the local business community and then used at subsequent employer events and open days as a key promotional tool.
